Staring the thread a little early, but dyno reports just came in at 525HP+- at 5500.
I will have specific numbers tomorrow evening after I go pick it up.

Pretty good numbers for a flat tappet engine. 1 is broke in on the dyno and ready to go. I will have the second one done after deposit or transaction is completed.

Dyno guy said it sounded like a real solid engine and pulled strong.

9.5:1 comp, Eagle forged internals.

15K for the pair after dyno work is completed. Needs nothing except wiring and sending units from your original boat so that they will bolt up and oil lines to match your cooler set up.
Includes carbs, fuel line to the pump. Fuel pumps, carbs, pans, arrestors, valve covers, billet filter remotes. All accesories except power steering pumps and alternators. Sea water pumps included.

Great engines for someone stepping out of 330's or stock 502's.

Consider certain trades. Instalation and limited warranty available also.

They made more HP with a little more timing, but this conservative area right here is the best overall numbers.

Engines were tuned on 93. They are 9.5:1 so I think that is the safest way to leave them.

Sounds like this is going to be a very nice reliable package for someone. Also cool that the buyer gets a dyno sheet on his new engines. Takes all the wondering out of the picture. What are the head castings? I wish you well with your sale. We all know it's not cheap when it comes to engine builds. Your price seems very fare...

Merlin ovals. No machine work, upgraded the springs to comps for the right pressure.

Nothing in these engines that is not easily duplicatable. That was the plan rom the start.

Someone will like them or I will use them on something in the future. They would be awesome plants in my cruiser with that almost flat torque curve,
