Cig35, I feel your pain. I have a pair of engines that I thought I was giving away but it seems no one is buying engines lately. Another guy has a pair of 540's he's also having a hard time selling. All great deals, no takers. Maybe their waiting until 3 weeks before the season starts to put the pressure on their mechanics? Then they'll be pizzed off when their boat isn't ready until mid season.

Thanks for sending me the upper half of the bravo drive a few weeks ago that I paid for back in NOV.. I know you are going thru tought times,etc but enought is enought. I paypal you for it and I want my drive.
Now lets finish this deal. Send me the lower unit with nuts,bolts, gaskets so I can assemble it into a complete Bravo drive!!

I'll leave out the responses back and forth to limit the exposure but I will say that if he made good on the drive deal I would reconsider the purchase. Everyone goes through hard times but if you make good on a deal then that's good in my book.

I am considering buying a motor that he has for sale but it is across the country so I would be buying it sight unseen without knowing for sure that it will ever ship. I can say when I call or email Harry he will respond and he assures me that he will get me the drive. I have waited long enought and since it is winter I gave him time to get his $hit in order..Well as we all know its going to be spring and I want my boat ready.
