Chances are his are like these that I had on my Pantera. They are like the ones used on older Cigs also. Probably won't work for you if his are like these.

well it was worth a shot anyway. i am going through this entire boat this winter. this is the one that i am going to be doing the chopped deck or deck mods to. i have it posted in fiberglass and paint. i plan to remove the windshield and pull the fiberglass windscreen closer to the cockpit. new paint and interior as well. it's a project but i am looking forward to it. does anyone know if those old merc steering wheels can be changed out to the newer 6 bolt style. i haven't had this one off yet however i assumed it has a keyway/slot.???

any ideas?

Most of the steering wheel shafts are the same. I think there are only the keyway one and maybe a 3/4inch tapered shaft. I don't think it will be problem finding a hub and new steering wheel.
