Was (am) running it on a 1997 26SP (28') with an HP 500. Prop works great on hole shot, mid range acceleration but I lost a little top end. Just don't appear to have enough to sping it over about 4700 RPM. I am going to try a hydromotive Quad 4 24-p so would consider taking one in on trade

I am running a 502 with lightnings and reworked ECU. If it doesn't work with a HP500 I doubt if I could use it.

If your 500hp is running good a 24 quad four should be too small. I am running a 26 hydro.
