Default wtb - TRS wingplates and tie-bar

Looking for TRS hydraulic steering attachments for twin TRS drive application. I don't care if they are wingplate or some bolt on plates, I have the rams and other transom components.

Honestly for what the 'wingplates' are from most places, you could easily go to a local metal fabrication and they could probably make them for you in less than an hour if you took them the dimensions. The ones I got from CP were little more than a plate of stainless with the ram mount welded onto it and they were a couple hundred bucks iirc. Of course I wasn't the one paying and time was of the essence...

I've only seen the wrap around wingplate that attaches to the drive studs. I'll check out the plate your describing. This is not a real go fast application, the original steering bars are totally worn out and I'm looking to add-on hydraulic rams to replace the existing bars inside the boat. Thanks for the info.

Yep,

I just drilled the stainless for mine today. 1/4" base plate and 1/8" thick SS316 ram mounts, two per side, sandwiching the heim joint. I haven't tried bolting the base plate up yet so not sure if I measured it up right. I THINK the TRS bolt pattern is 4-15/16 x 4-1/16.

Gotta find a good TIG welder around here.

May I ask where you bought the tie bar ends at?

And by the way.....

Wing plates on a TRS are waaaay more than a simple plate...

I have them on mine. It goes over the top (4 bolts and spacers) and down the face (another 4) and the pin for the clevis is a specialty item....not readily available from the hdwr. store....
