thanks! now our new baby is here and me and the wife have been thinking that this cat dont have a "cuddy" or anywhere to lay him down etc. hopefully I can stick with a cat but we'll see.its hard to think of all the hours,time,money, and hard work I put into this thing and now selling it to get a more "family friendly" boat. but I wouldnt change a thing.:rolleyes:

I need to sell this boat soon, me and my wife just had our first baby and found out he has a heart condition(hypoplastic left heart syndrome) and has already has one open heart operation and will have 2 more. I have medical bills and need this boat sold. I'll take $16,500 for the hull minus the motor, or I'll take $26,000 with the motor. I have receipts for the motor alone for $20,000 not installed. I hate to sell it but my family comes first.

So I guess the medical bills arent the priority anymore ?

I thought the whole medical bills thing was the reason for the sell myself......

We have recently worked out a payment plan for our medical bills and have also been able to enroll our son into a foundation called the "Katie becket foudation" which is a program to help with medical expenses for children with serious expensive medical conditions, just for yalls info. Thanks for yalls concerns about my reasoning for selling my boat. :)

Now y'all are probably going to ask how much my sons medical bills are too? Just for you guys who are concerned he has to have 3 open heart operations that range between $600,000-$800,000 per operation(inculding the hospital stay an medications) I gues next I'll have to post a pic of some medical bills huh??

ps. the "bigger boat" I found I'm wanting to go buy is a 1978 30ft sylvan pontoon with a 60 horse johnson hanging off the back for $3800. LOL:drink:

what does it matter if he has to sell to pay medical bills or buy a hooker? His son was born with a serious heart condition and he does have thousands in medical bills but has since worked out a way to take care of that so my old buddy is back to what we all love ....... Boating. this is a nice little cat that he has more blood sweat and tears in than anyone will know. good luck with the sale and whoever ends up with it will have a unique piece of history that runs as well as it looks.

no problem, trust me when you have to sit here in my shoes and look at you child laying there not know if/when they'll make it home or not is tough. We are glad to be where we are and that we could work out payments on the medical bills we have. We try to keep on doing what we love and thats boating like lakespeed said. my cat just inst the "baby" friendly boat with a cabin so thats why I'm looking to move up. No hard feelings, just want to sell my boat so we can enjoy a bigger boatwith a cuddy next summer with our little boy. thanks
