This can actually be used for either, only difference is the intake connections......if it helps, I have the tubing and full intake cover for a carb set-up..... I bought a used M-1SC unit that was for a BBC carb set-up and installing it on an EFI application so there are extra parts. Procharger can supply any additional items needed but be aware, you have to ask them the right questions and do your research....just saying.....

Yes you can use a Procharger on any engine. If you go to the Procharger website I think they had some examples listed of the power gains and not all of them were stock. I think bolting on this system with you all ready making 400hp, you would probably be around 600-650 hp. Maybe a little more because of the inter-cooler. You can give Procharger a call and talk to them they would be able to give you more accurate specs.

I would think you are running a pretty high compression ratio with that power. Remember any forced induction raises compression. The slightest hiccup(lean situation or detonation) with high compression and I expect your motor will go BOOM!
