Does you boat porpoise on calm water? At any speed(above 60)?

Around 80mph it when trimmed up too high otherwise no I can`t say that it does.
Now let me ask you a question, what trim setting do you usually run with 1-3' chop.
Seems anything over 3 and it just want to jump out of the water.. first boat so I have nothing to compare it to, but in any chop usually 2 and less is what it likes.

I've always heard " trim level, fly level". Im not usually in that high of a chop But when Im in the rough stuff I try not to go past Neutral, level. But I have an extension box so my level is prop shaft 3" below hull, which is probably higher than yours so my boat doesn't stuff the bow as much in N.
Ask RAddiction, he has less power than you but similar setup.

"Neutral" meaning all the way down?

No, neutral drive position is level with the bottom of the hull. I believe it goes, down, in and negative are all the same and Up, out and positve are the same. Then theres neutral, O, level, with the hull. there may be other terms but this is all I've ever heard.
Have you found top speed Yet?
Anytime,
Nick C.
