88scarab, I have a spare BBC oil pan on the shelf, came off one of my 454/400 Cyclone motors. Email me at [email protected] for more information.

Also, this is from Mark, the current owner of Lady L:
"She is in the paint shop right now, and plan on dropping in the new engines in after x-mas. Plans are to race in 2011."
I was speaking with him via email this afternoon.

i talked to pete (the old owner) last night and sent him some pics and you are correct this is not the lady L , just a boat just like it with big blocks in it. mr lamottea told me if there was an x pattern under the motors across the stringers that it was her so i was miss informed cause it dose have that, sorry about that guy but the boat still has a lot of good parts on it... and i thought i had a piece of history

Ridefast,
Just a tidbit, the Crazy Greek boat P-6 in post one, is the same boat as M-52. The M-52 is the Crazy Greek P-6, with a new paint job. The caption in the second post that says "Lady L back in the day" is wrong.
The son of the Crazy Greek owner (I forget his screen name on OSO) tracked the hull down last year-its in a field near Ft. Myers Florida in very bad condition.
One other tidbit, Pantera took over the Signature building on 188th Street after Adams passed. Pantera has since moved to another location.
How much for the hull?
Hope this info helps.

Ridefast, yes I believe Mark and the 'Lady L' are in the Carolinas as well. He's doing a top notch, soup-to-nuts restoration on her.

I'm really interested in the entire package. We spoke about it some four months ago or more. Let's try to make a deal rather than cutting her up for parts!

I can clear this up quickly. This is my old boat and it is not the Lady L boat. This boat originally had pengins on the side and was bought by a guy that owned john cool lincon mercury in portsmouth Va. it was then raced under the name the riddler by the riddle brothers in va beach va. I bought the boat from them and completly restored the boat. It was beautiful. I dont know what happened to it but someone should have their a** kicked. Two people have owned it since me. The first one put some BS flame graphics on it but only used it twice in three years. The last owner must have been the one that destroyed it. If you have questions about it I put every single part on it. It was a bare hull when I bought it. Allan Smith
