I'm not totally sure on the hp becuse I have never hade the motor on a dyno. Whipple claims that it's arround 625hp at the 5psi that I'm running. I did all the work my self with alot of help and adivce from Whipple, and Teaque. I have ran the motor for 3 years in the boat trouble free. Oil changes every 10 to 15 hours {once I think I ran it 18 to 19 hours} and new spark plugs twice a year. I have allways ran the mecr 25-40 oil. I'm looking to move up to 800hp. This hp thing is very addicting. Feel free to call me with any other questions
Thanks Brayden

The 496 is a great power plant but not so good for 800 + hp. I'm not sure what way I will go, but I would love a Teaque 800 but the price tag is HUGE!!!! And I will not do anything if I do not sell what I allready have. But I will be starting from scratch so I will have lots of opportunitys. The cheapest way would be to build what I aready have. But you allways need...want more!!! Thanks for looking!!
