Pretty sure If the 272 has small blocks, the exhaust coming thru the transom is different location Cal. If it has BB then the one from the 311 should work.

I bought the 311 platform positive it would fit...

the 311 has a 3" wider beam- and platform

I have BBC's , not sure about the small block platform...

Oh, its an 1989 sr1 w/ T454's

The existing platform is in poor condition, I think the previous owner nailed a pole or seawall with the corner, mucho cracks and discoloration of the gel...

Any Ideas?

Most all of them look the same, but surpisingly they made quite a few different ones. There was a guy in Chicago that had one off of a 292 last year. If he still has it, that one will fit your boat. Do some thread searching on here, you might find him. If memory serves, he had a orange/black/gray 292 WITH 365/Bravo.

Prolly better to fix it. That's what I would do.

I will most likely be removing a platform from a 1988 272 sr1 in march.......I think i am gonna replace it with an aluminum one.

If I do so what is it worth to you?
