Can't believe these are still available. If I had a TRS boat, I would have shown up with some cash and made a deal.

Default konrads

I have a '86 Cigarette Cafe with 502/600 HP motors. The boat currently has TRS drives. What improvements will I see in the boat with Konrads. My TRS drives function properly and have been very reliable. Thanks for any input.

If you aren't upgrading the power to more then 600hp, I would stay with your current setup TRS. Shouldn't have any problems.

The Konrads would come into play 650HP++++. The Konrads have a X dimension of 1.7" shorter so you might pick up some speed. Good thing about Konrads is that you can run convnetional Bravo XR props. More prop selection.

You would need to move the engines forward for the tranny, or see if Konrad could sell you the stand off box for the ACE package.

So if I buy the ACE I will not need the tranny? Does the ACE still use the gimbal/transom assy. he is selling with the drives?
