Default how much for something like this

i had an engine built from a fellow on here last season and things didnt turn out so well. i ended up with a large paper weight. and the paper weight is messy leaks oil and ****, so needless to say im hunting around looking for a nice engine, either built already or one that needs assembled, or build from a block or someting, i dont know much but i know i dont want to spend my summer as i did last year trying to play catch up with the mechanic.

i havent a clue to what an acutall engine would run, i have close to 4,500 in mine and its not a quarter of yours, it makes me sick. so i ask what is someting like yours worth, am i barking and no one is listening, i listed mine for sale, i have my eye on ratboys engine, its pretty knarly but a 540 pushing 800 is even knarlier.

Ths is the for sale area...not discussion board. That is probably why your not getting alot of info.....I would start a thread about your engine wants/needs. Almost everyone here is really polite and very willing to help out!!! Good luck with the project!
