Original Aluminum Bolster stands from Cigarette, complete $75 plus shipping

I am interested in these. Can you explain what the pieces are in the middle of the picture are for and what the angled pieces on frames do? Any pics of these somewhat assembled without the seat top?

The pieces that are in the middle mount to the bottom of the seat that drops down. When the seat is in the up position the round rods on each side lock into these. This is what keeps the seat locked in place. You would remove the rods from the brackets when you want to drop the seat bottom down. Hope that helps.
