Shooter was building me a 540 and I just had some family situations come up as of the last few days, which have made me have to sell everything before I could even put it in the boat, I even have to sell the 272 hull with trailer. Below is a build sheet, I will post pics as soon as photobucket is up and running again I guess photobucket was having some issues. Pm me you can also call me at 813-728-2630. 9. Dart Iron Eagle 308cc heads
10. Merlin intake with brass inserts
11. Holley 800 cfm double pumper carb with mechanical secondaries

14. Manley 1 piece push rods
15. Scorpion roller rocker arms with locks
16. Internal balanced harmonic balancer (SEMA approved with degree marks)
17. Internal balanced steel billet flywheel (SEMA approved 10,000 rpM)

20 Eddie marine exhaust manifolds with long tails

I'd like to sell the shortblock complete since it's hard getting someone to buy a complete 540 especially when I have dropped so much money into it. I'd like to sell the heads intake, carburator separately unless someone wants to buy the complete engine. I'd like to stress all these parts ARE NEW and NEVER BEEN USED. Thanks for your time.

So very very sorry to hear that your having problems. Must be serious to make you do something like this.

Anyway, is this completely assembled or still in pieces?

Thank you very much for your support, yes it's been taking a toll on me for the last couple of days but I can always get back to boating, family comes first.

The shortblock is completely assembled, the machine work was done by reher morrison. Just for the shortlbock, with the machine work and everything I paid $8895. Pm Pslonaker he has pics on his computer, I can send pics by attaching to email but for posting on here I use photobucket and its down at the moment so if you want pics give me your email and I'll send them from my email. I know I'll take a hit on some of this stuff even though it's brand new and never used. My lowest bottom price on the shortblock is $8,000. Once again the shortblock is completely assembled, the heads, intake, and carb are still in box.

For the heads I paid $1,999 plus a few extra hundred bucks for them to put a special coating on them to prevent corrosion from salt water. I'll be uploading pics as soon as photobucket is working again which it says their solving techincal issues until 11pm tonight. Carb I paid $550 and that is also still in box, and I can't remember at the moment how much I paid for the intake, have a lot of stuff on my mind.
