I have 120 feet of aluminum rail i got from Peter last year for a project i was working on that I'd like to (hopefully) do some trading on. This is 1" wide polished quarter round with the groove for screw head clearance. Similar to this

It was actually the wrong stuff from what i needed that Pete sent but the price was good enough that it was worth keeping hoping that it might work on my Scarab. Long and short of it is this rail will not work and i am hoping someone in the biz might have what i need and want to maybe do some sort of swap. I need aprox 80 feet of this one . . . . .

That is pretty much axactly what I need other than in polished stainless. I just removed my old rub rail and there is no over hang from the deck to the hull. The deck and hull are a dead even match. Just not sure how the Aluminum would look with all the other stainless accs. I have on the boat. Mainly the cleats. Wonder how that would look. 32' boat canary yellow with black stripes. hmmm. Don't count me out yet. Pm me and let me know what kind of goods your looking for in trade or how much? I would need about 75' but understand you would probably want it to go all at once.

no, as we all know shipping is the kicker here. Hoping someone more local could use this stuff. I just checked and cost right now at rubrails.com is about $650 with $150 shipping. Luckily the rail i need is available locally for $576 so i'd just like to get as close to converting this into that as possible .
