mertrans conversion to bw72 (longer shafts needed)
If anyone has the longer shafts I need please let me know. I have not been through this before however I see several have done it. I have pretty much everything for the conversion and able to move the engines forward but need the longer shafts.

I am not a 100% certain. My engines are on the shop floor. This is where I need a little help. I will measure everything up the best I can and let you know. At the very least even if the shaft length ends up being the same the splines are different from the MercTrans to the BW c72 trans/drive plate.
I was reading some old threads about this last night but nothing was really mentioned about what shafts I will need. Actually I don't see why the length of the shafts would be different rather than just the splines. I'll try and get some input on the deal today.
