That's a helluva deal!

I agree with what soldier4402 said. Unless, I'm not seeing something right, it looks like the rust & paint bubbling at the holes you made is from the heat generated by the torch or drill that was used.

If 928Droid backs out, I'd like to be next in line!

Thanks,
Travis

Hi Travis,

This pic below from this morning will let you know there is no "next in line"... :-)

Hi Dan,

Thanks for the good deal, and for making everything so easy for my wife to pick it up by herself. You guys are great! She made it back at 8:30am this morning and the CIG 24 loaded up nicely, only have to make a few adjustments and it will be a perfect fit. The gloss black paint job will come this fall after the season!

THANKS AGAIN!!

HA! I noticed the trailer in your posts on the Cig Forum. Boat looks nice. Interesting to see that your 24 hangs off the back of a trailer that was originally for a 25' Baja! That trailer might have still been too big for my Cig 20.

Just goes to show that hull length is hull length and model numbers don't mean $hit!

Good luck with your Cig!

Agree about hull lenght, I have owned a few "24s"...but I was begining to wonder if the CIG was a 26 or something...LOL... even got out the tape measure to check.

I guess it has to do with these modern built in swim platforms and they measure overall lenght instead of hull lenght.

Concerning trailer and rear over hang...it was a quickie first load on the trailer after a long weekend..

If you notice the bow/winch support is pretty far back, there is about 30" of movement available towards the front . I am going to loosen the u-bolts and move it forward until the transom is almost even with the rear of the trailer bunks, which is where I want it.....especially since the CIG is all motor. I could tell the hitch weight is too light on the trip home, at least or my towing tastes.

Thanks again,

Dave
