Default Looking for inexpensive 454 replacement engine

My formula 223 330hp 454 is tired and needs to be either replaced or rebuilt. Cash is very tight these days so I was thinking I may find a motor someone is pulling out to upgrade... Anyone have anything?
I am in California but could travel to pick up or I could have it shipped.
Thanks

I've been considering selling my 454 (started out as a 330). I'm currently building a 502. The bottom end is still stock but it's a 4 bolt block. It's got a crane hyd. cam, crane gold roller rockers, 396 (large oval) closed chamber heads w/ s.s. valves (9 to 1 compression), dart intake, holley 750dp, hvh spacer, k&n flame arrestor, etc... I'm going to keep the exhaust, valve covers, msd distributor and water crossover system + the accessories such as p/s pump, sea pump, etc... Let me know if your interested. Btw, I live in Antioch Calif.

Default 454

i have 454 with well now about 9 hours of use on it, i had it built last season marine mechanic in northern kentucky for me, im wanting to upgrade boats, and plan to install a small block into this boat and sell boat

leaving this enigne on stand, its a 454 40 over my exhaust system stays, its imco power flo unless your budget would or cold afford to pay for those, but other wise you would get engine all external accc. aluminum intake, brand new 7 hours on 750 eldebrock carb. i would sell it for or between 3,000 an 3,500.

i live in ohio, so im assuming you would have to ship it, so the cost of shiping is not included in the price. i have pics, of engine, as far as all the inside stuff i dont understand all that stuff but i do have a list of what was installed in the motor, its a 2000 gen 6 454 standard rotation.

call me if interested. thanks. 937 562 1501

i havent a clue to what an acutall engine would run, i have close to 4,500 in mine and its not a quarter of yours, it makes me sick. so i ask what is someting like yours worth, am i barking and no one is listening, i listed mine for sale, i have my eye on ratboys engine, its pretty knarly but a 540 pushing 800 is even knarlier.
Is this the engine your looking to sell for 3 to 3500? If so, No thanks!
