I upgraded from 177's to 250's on my 468CI engines this year. With the 177's, best I was able to get was 77mph@5psi. With the 250's, I got 84mph@7psi. Even at 7psi I am spinning the 250 quite a bit slower than I was spinning the 177 at 5 psi. Its a nice upgrade for a 525SC, without getting into the big 871 style blowers. Anything over 5psi on a 454 with a 177, is just making heat, not HP. These little 250 blowers can do 700HP with the right combo. Just ask Jeff1000man
