Default L29 ported Vortec heads, 279

L29 Vortec large oval port heads. Approximately 200hrs on them. Ported & flowed although I no longer have the spec sheet they flow roughly 286cfms. Don’t remember the exhaust specs but the Vortecs are known for their D ports so its already better than any other large oval production head. Comes with rotators to run larger cams. These vortec heads are a perfect upgrade to the Merc. 330hp round port heads as the 99cc chambers ups the compression in addition to the better flowing head.

I used these heads, 454HO cam, 496 exhaust & a performer manifold on a Gen V 454 & went from a 21P 3 blade to a 23P Rev 4. Its basically a “330 on Roids” clone with milder cam more aggressive porting.

$700.00 [email protected] if interested

“Vortec, L29, The GM Performance Parts L29 Vortec Big Block Cylinder Head was used on 1997-99 pick-ups with 7.4L engines. They are the best kept secret of GM. The small 99cc combustion chambers raise compression by 1 full point from the stock 119cc heads. The large oval port design flows better than any factory oval port head. If you are looking for a good head to put on your tow rig to help you haul the load, then the L29 Vortec big block head will do the trick. Sold as bare castings. For use on 1991 and later Gen V and VI engines only. Price: $629.95 Price is per head.”

Sorry no pics. New build is slowly coming together so I'm still running these heads / motor.
