I have a 2005 27' fever... I am transitioning from full-time mufflers to exhaust tips.. any recommendations on where to get them. I ordered a set with external flappers but the angle of the flange that is supposed to be flush to the transom was not 90 degrees. Do they have to be custom made?? Thanks.

I know this thread is old old, but wanted to ask a question on this. I recently purchased a 29 fountain that appears to have some sort of mufflers like this on it with grates as the tips that are flush with the swim platform. I am assuming that is what they are anyways. Do these just slide over the through hull exhaust and then screw to the swim platform by the tips? Or is there some other type of equipment that holds these on? I would like to remove them, but wasnt sure if I would need different tips or anything like that to get rid of them. The boat has been in the water this whole time without a ton of easy access to the back of the boat to be sure.
