Default FS: Gev VI 502 Longblock w/extras

I bought this motor in hopes of putting it in my boat and get another 6 or 7 weeks out of the season, but this motor isnt compatible with what ive got, so rather than swap my cam, heads, etc..., then swap it back to my other motor at seasons end, id rather just setll it.

its a GEN VI 502 longblock with heads, cam, intake, ecu, distributor, wires, starter. you will need to use your old lower intake on this motor. this was used in a truck application for 26,000 miles, so the intake manifold has extra sensor holes for automotive sensors, and the fuel rail is slightly different, the injectors are also smaller than merc units (at the base). the motor does run, i have a video of it idling if youd like to see it. get back on the water cheap! email or PM me for pics as i dont think i can post them here, [email protected]

I know im going to lose my ass on the motor, but it is what it is...$3500 OBO. i can get a pretty good shipping deal through my work. Hell for 3500 ill pickup the shipping. anything less and we can discuss.
thanks!

What truck is it from?
I was not aware the GenVI 502 was available in a truck?
Does it use same internals as the marine 502?
Thanks..

This was on craigslist in MILW, Wis. area. I wanted that motor over a month ago but he said it was sold then contacted me two three weeks ago saying it was still available and he'd take $3500. That was a good buy! You shouldn't have a problem selling it. Excellent upgrade for someone wanting to do a repower.

thanks yes, that is it, except it was Milwaukee, Oregon. I think the price is resonable for what you get. need to get this thing out of my buddy's shop soon!
