WOW that pin must be right up in there... way into the oil ring land... they using a true arc lock or a pin button, I would be using a button in this case

post some detailed pics of the piston so we can see the configeration, ring placement, deck style... etc...

something wrong with the math bud... so what I'm thinking is that you have a rod that is 6.635 length which makes more sense, that adds up to 10.192 putting the piston down the hole .008"
