You looking for the Whole steering system / rams etc. or are you only after parts of it. Id like to sell it all together, Helm, Manifold on transom, pressure container, rams etc. $600 shipped ?

I'm interested in the entire system minus steering wheel. I am a lil concerned over your air over hydraulic statement.....as this is nothing I have ever heard of at the helm.....but I have a hydraulic INTERNAL setup now

Well I am not , real, familiar with this setup, I beleive the main deal being it doesnt use a power steering pump, the pressure is provided by the pot with air on it. It has a schrader valve and a specific amount of fluid, is in the reservoir along with a certain amount of air pressure on top of it. I do not know the appropriate way to hook it up if you were trying to use a power steering pump . Or if it could be done. You mentioned a hydraulic INTERNAL setup right now, I am assuming you are speaking of a standard power rack attached to the inside of the transom plate, steering the system with the steering arm inside the boat? I wouldnt know of any other ways to run this system than the way it is. Maybe others know more about it, the rams are small diameter rods, so not a lot of fluid in comparison to others.

I know it's a long shot because this thread is old but I'd be interested in both the external steering rams (depending on length). Please let me know if they are atill available. Thanks!
