Just got some info on the port work. As cast tests were for the most part right on with Brodex advertised numbers. He thinks intake port CCs went from 180 to 190, he will be verifying that before finished. He gave me a .600 lift figure of about 280 CFM. He also flow tested a Torker II on the as cast port it flowed about 225 CFM but didnt give me at what lift point it stalled out at that flow. Of course it depends a bit on just how much the heads flow as to were it happens.
Sounds like they would be great heads for a 383 or larger engine

Price on heads new as purchased with hard coat military speck anodizing 180 IK Brodix heads. Cost 2000.00. Dropped the price to 1600.00. Now with port work added 800.00 to the price now 2400.00 a pair. Should have flow number sheets and heads next week. They are not used never been installed.

52mph best. Stock Alpha. Stock motor. No muffler inserts.Note: Water speedo said 59 and change. LOL.

With engine upgrade, 68.1 absolute best. Stock Alpha (muffler inserts removed/1ft chop, down wind, light fuel, flame arrestor removed..ie: early fall banzai run)

Same fuel load / weather condition as that Alpha SS run, 65mph.

That SS run (72.8) was not a test run and boat had a bunch of fuel, flat water, bunch of fuel, muffler inserts in, etc, etc. Did a quick blast to accelerate past a friends boat that happened to be travelling by), looked at guages quickly and noticed motor was at 6200rpm (still accelerating) and pulled back right then. This motor should peak around 5400-5500rpm. Gathering more props for next year.
