you guys crack me up the nay sayers have to be the ones that pay everyone to do their work
so here we are here is my senerio .i have a formula i just took in trade 1989 has 2 brand new 502 hp 500 clones in it 2 very clean transom assy and 2 brand new bravo drives .now let me put a # on my boat $18.000
now lets say i buy this boat for $10.000 put my power and drives in it .we all know anybody with any skill can do it in a weekend {at least i can anyways } so now im into the boat for $28.000 and some labor .and get this i still have the trailer an the good hull from the previous boat i can sell .= and those parts will more than pay for the new interior in the 353.

so there you have it plain and simple .as i said before you need a donor boat to do it

its the guys that buy the motors for 25.000 and drives for 7.000 and pay someone to do the work that cant do it .someone go look at this thing before i talk myself into buying it

And when this boat is put back together, what's it worth? 70-80k. Seems pretty realistic with smokin gun's plan.

The thing that concerns me is the odd mods, and what ever is happening over the cabin entry? Looks like particle board. Also the cabin has odd mods? The Formula I have now looked a lot like this when I purchased it. Little elbow grease and it came back well.

all i can say someone made it to their liking changing things around. i agree its different but on the outside it has nice graffics and colors .i cant see the boat being rotted as it has the stringer system and all the interior is not wood its starboard... its obvious the seller isnt trying to hide anything here.ive found on this site no matter what you do its wrong.if the guy spent the day cleaning it everyone would say he is hiding something hes wrong cause he didnt clean it --if he posted no pics you get the guy that says [this thread is worthless without pics].. all i can say is you higher up white collar workers with the $$$$ can go out and put the cash down and make the payment every month and thats great im happy for you . im one of those that cant.. yes i own a top gun paid for ,,,and let me tell you i bought junk put it together sold resold built another ect till i got where i am today . so someone give this boat a second chance at life.go look at it with open eyes before we condem it !!!

Only concern I'd personally have is the cat piss, coon sh1t, and mice munching on wires. Plus whatever other weird animals Florida has....
The rest will most likely clean up fine.

Hey Smokin' Gun..... you can't fix stupid no matter how many times you try. The nay sayers obviously are just jealous that they don't have the brains or talent to fix up a project boat and reap the satisfaction of getting a really nice boat for cheap with a little work and horse trading. I am with you.... My 2004 380 eagle with 700hp 575sci's is paid for free and clear from doing the same as you. It's either jealousy, ignorance, or incompetence.......nothing you or I say will ever change that.
