Default Hp 500 carb and intake

Dart rect port bbc intake and holley carb, and hp 500 flame arrestor. fresh powder coat, and carb rerbuild. Clean No corrosion, bolt on and go. purchased from another member 1 1/2 years ago never ended up using it. $600 plus the ride.

Did they machine that intake? What are the shiny spots near the ends o the runners?

That's not a Mercruiser HP500 intake, is it an HP500 carb? Or did you just have the stuff powder coated?

Ron I would rather keep the unit complete.....Irish has one for sale check with him.

Purdue Cat and baja226, I purchased this from a member over a year ago as it sits. I was told it was hp500 stuff. It was freshly powder coated when I purchased it. The shiny spot near the intake runner looks like it was taped off rather than machined.

Sorry if I miss lead anyone, that's the last thing I wanted to do.

It's virtually the same but is missing the hole for the pcv valve, the casting is there just not the hole. And the "machined" spot is to clear the valve cover rail on some heads
