gen vi 502 long block

for sale is a 502 gen vi long block that needs rebuild. motor has all forged internals and roller valvetrain . motor is disassembled.

this motor is my cousins he bought it brand new last year. he wants $2000 for it. the motor would make a good 509 or 540. the guy at machine shop said crank needs to be turned and cylinder walls need to be bored and everything else is in good shape such as cam lifters and heads.

I have new crank rods and pistons for this. Are the mains good. Or need a line bore?

my machine guy said that its hard to line bore a gen VI block with it being a 1 piece rear main..
