Is nice looking. On a scale of 1-10 where do u think it would be. Cosmetically - paint, spider cracks, chips etc. I understsnd its not new by any means but if one was to make a trip out what would be a first glance reaction? Not nit picking but just wanna get right sraight to what it is.

Also as mentioned in earlier post the condition of transom and stringers and if any recent cores to determine. Or even a knock knock whats there or not there.

Sharp boat. Hard to believe some had it going on even back in 82. Not just Don Johnson either.

The "Kaama" edition, had nothing to do with having Kaama drives on the early scarabs. What the Kaama package did include, I believe, was some lighter weight materials in the build process. I have an old article from 82, where they mentioned the "kaama" edition boats, were something like 1300 lbs lighter than a standard edition 38 scarab.

Cool boat, good luck with the sale!

Engines have Holley marine double pumper carbs, Single plane intakes, full MSD ignition, Merlin heads, Crane gold roller rockers, dual cooler bell housings and Eddie Marine Thunder exhaust. These are no stock Merc. 370's. Borg Warner green tag trannies. Gimbels and drives are tight. Not a lot of work to put back together and someone could be in one of the cooler old school 38 foot models out there for not a ton of cash.

Stringers and transom sound solid. Bring your hammer LOL. Some spider cracks in gel. Paint shines.

This boat is way cool. If I didn't stumble onto our 43 I would be very happy finishing this one off.
