CL find, not mine but I thought I would pass it along. sounds like a great deal.

Like new set of CMI marine exhaust. Will fit 454,502,496 the set has been Soda blasted, Pressure tested and Powder Coated Silver. These were bought and prepped for a project but never used. Comes with new Flange Gaskets, 2- 4" chrome tips with internal flaps and 2' of new 4" marine exhaust hose, all other accessories are available through IMCO Marine. Call 989-205 4315, price for just the exhaust is $750.

I Wonder how that rubber hose is gonna hold up to the exhaust heat without any water in it??.... im just sayin...

Yes the CMI: split tops are jacketed, but they do not go into a hose. They use a tail the is jacketed as well. You can see where the jumper hose would go to the tail pipe.

I misunderstood Mr. Buss's statement . Yes that would not work well .

I've never seen CMI's that are cut & welded like that?...Lightning does it that way...

Those are an old set of CMI rope seal split tops. They are piece welded, that is the way they mad them berfor they had benders. Whit the straight back tops they will fit in boats with trans in them TRS etc.
