no tails ? I see they have both bolt patterns, is that typical of all gen X or were these drilled by someone

Those look like mercury headers. They didn't have gen x's in 2005

I bought them installed on a 2005 525EFI. They must be newer then. I will call CMI and give them the # stamped and see what they say. Only headers, no tails.
They do have the Gen x cool collar design. Don't believe the Merc Headers had that.

Spoke to CMI today. These are the original equipment to my 525EFI. 05 Code date, so they are the Merc version. Also heard from the original owner, who verified them as original and then bought them.
So, these are sold

Original owner backed out on purchase, so they are still available. Have the paperwork where they were tested at CMI. Have not been installed since. These are the Mercury 2005 CMI Headers.$1800. Both stamped 2905X.

Is international shipping to Germany an option for you?
I think they will fit on my new 8.2 engine also! Michael

I could ship to Germany. I would have to have the funds in advance. The CMI foam filled boxes would be excellent for a long distance ship.
