Default IMCO -2" Lower $1500

I have a -2" lower for sale. I can only assume that it is an IMCO. This lower is mechanically sound and functions perfectly, but is UGLY. Whoever installed the nose cone did a lousy job and it needs to be redone or removed. A little sanding, grinding and some filler and this should be perfectly fine. I will include the IMCO SS cavitation plate with it. I put this on my personal boat to try it out and it does work fine. 1 1/4" XR propshaft. $1500 shipped

I thought imco lowers were cast looking like that. You don't have to add a nose cone to them???

Looks like mine has been added on to. I don't know why. I personally would just remove it

Does it have a water pickup in the cone?

The early early cases were cut and re-welded bravo lowers, with a nose cone added. So this is a old school 1st gen Imco.

So your saying this is nothing more than a shortened and rewelded bravo 1 case? Imco made these as production?
