Default SBC OEM Hyd Roller Conversion Kit

This is a used set of GM LS7 hyd roller lifters, GM lifter retainers, GM guide hold down.
GM # 12499225. Originally used on the LS7 engines, these lifters are now replacement for all LSX engines. These were used on a 355 motor I threw together for a spare. They have engine stand break in time on them only.

$50 plus ride.

No, however, seeing your boat is an 87, your blocks may be like other 86/87+ and be set up for rollers, but using flat tappets from the factory. In other words, many 86/87+ engines came from the factory with flat tappet cams installed in 'roller' blocks.

SB is correct. Might be worth pulling the intake to find out.

You could probably just pull a valve cover and look down through too, easier than pulling intake

If you have access to an inspection camera you can just pull the distributor and go in to look at the intake valley. What you want to see is holes drilled and tapped in three bosses in the center of the valley for the retaining spider.
