Default CMI 525 headers

I have 2 pair of CMI headers just back from being pressure tested at CMI. They are 03's with 300 hrs. Asking 3200 shipped.

Will unbox and take pics for anyone serious.

I spent til 3am last night reading and learning about CMIs. Quick question though on these, is the joint for tails different from CMI versus original Merc CMI?

The sport tube or sweepers, gen x, what ever you call them, should have the same clamp type flange

The headers made by CMI for Merc. Racing have a different flange, where the tails mount to the headers, Than the CMI design Etops. The Merc racing CMI headers have a flat flange. The CMI etops have a somewhat angled flange.

At lease this is how the ones I have are made. I have the CMI design Etopheaders and they will not work with the Merc. racing CMI made tails.

Hope this helps
