Have engines home and they look brand new, exhaust manifolds have few scratches from shelves but otherwise look new, pipes have a little silicone on them and tips are scratched from mufflers but otherwise look like new, engines have new cast alum HP pans, blowers and carbs are fine but should likely be cleaned, these are hawk 454 420 blower conversions made for cigarette by hawk, entire set up was removed at 40 hours from new, engines have all pullies, water pumps, fuel pumps no distributors, do have caps and wires that again look like new, flywheels are on engines.

The superchargers are 174 not 420s big difference. Blower / supercharges what ever you wish to call them

Same here, IIRC Merc 525SC was Merc 420hp with Blower setup added. Sounds exactly what is being described by OP.

I have a set of 454 with 420s on them Local guy caller me asking about them. didn't want anything so big so I told him I may know of a couple other sets that would be more of what he wanted. I saw yours read threw it, I guess to quickly, And saw this.
I felt I needed to explain the issue. Good luck with your sale. For damage done? there is non it was misread is all clearly stated and straitened out. If you think this killed the sale and your honesty on it there is other issues then.
