Default (2) IMCO Whipples up for grabs (trying to post in classifieds)

I have a pair of IMCO Whipple chargers for sale, I'm trying to post them up for sale in the classifieds but my phone isn't letting me, guess I'll try from my computer when i get home tonight. They are made by AutoRotor/Opcon for Whipple Industries, then sold under IMCO for the marine line of chargers. These are true whipples, not blowers, so they have about 70% efficency versus blowers 30-40%, and are not nearly as loud. They are 1.5 liter displacement, have forged cases, cooled blower snouts, and make around 5psi boost at 5,000rpm. They are also a universal mount, meaning they have an adapter plate that bolts to any 4-barrel intake for a small block or big block Chevy, then the blower bolts on top. I have all the brackets, pulleys, tensioners, and hoses that go with them. Just bolt them on, get a belt and go. Only reason for selling is my motors aren't healthy enough to take on blowers, so i need the money to rebuild them instead. Plenty of pics I can send through text for serious inquires. Feel free to call or text with any questions. Asking $2000 each or both for $3500. Nick @ 636-466-0677

Also, the main question i get is how tall are they... From the top of your intake to the top of the blower where your carb mounts is 7 1/2", and that includes the adapter plate just fyi

Airjunky, it's kind of hard finding OE specs on them cause Autorotor/Opcon is now sold through PSE, and from what i hear Whipples are now built by Lysolm? I thought they were 2.1s originally, but out of the 2 sources i found, 1 of them said they were 1.5s and the other said they were 2.3s..... i really wanna find out for sure so i know what i have and whoever buys them knows what they are getting, but it's been kind of a ***** honestly. What i do know is they are in great condition, and can be spun really high cause of all the cooling features they have. I'll continue to post more info as i find it, but in the mean time feel free to give me a call and I'll share everything i know about them bud

Like i said earlier its been very hard finding info on these, i posted what i have read about them but made it clear that i am no expert on them because info is scarce. I would love to hear any "correct" info on them if anyone has it tho.
