They were Hawk motors I believe. So not merc blue but basically clones. Of course now they have different cams in them for a few more HP. All the 525SC's are cab motors. The 575 went to fuel injection and the new 525's are fuel injected.

I had a pair of 525SC Hawks in a 92 Bullet. With upgraded cams the boat ran 80 MPH on the dot in flat water. Great running engines. Id like to put these in my 35 Fountain.
