1978 Python 24' project
 

Boat is unique and rare. Bought it off a friend as a short term project to complete. Interior needs recovering or replaced which in these boats isn't a whole lot. Has merctrans with a 350 conversion. Looks sharp and includes dual axle trailer. Starts and runs well. Drive and trans works as they should. Low hour boat stored majority of its life. Deck and sides painted imron 15 years plus years ago. A couple of weekends work detail would go a long ways. Looks great as is. Stingers and transome rock solid.

This is a really neat good handling rough water boat for its size with classic looks at an affordable price. 7k

Cool old classic for the money.

thank you! Its a neat boat and just needs a little tlc. previous owner is a friend of mine who had it for over 25 plus years and used on an inland lake here in NW MI. i bought it from him with intent of getting back on the water. fired it up on trailer and sounds great. just got busy with work and other project boat. hopefully goes to a good home. pictures are exactly way i got it from previous owner. he had it covered in storage for several years.

Price reduced to 6k.

Would like to move for other commitment.

This is a good deal guys- I'll vouch for the condition of the boat. At $6k its a steal.

just a heads up I will consider driving down to state line to help split up drive. I will also throw in a couple of new front seats seats that will put you well on your way to making cockpit off to a good start. They are brand new.

New price. 5,500. Where was this kinda deal when I bought my first boat??? Well under half the price of a dam jet ski that you get bored within a few weeks!!!!!

Your absolutely right. Just finished drivers training. He's the reason I bought it for but seems to be way more rapped up into girls and a mustang he's saving for. I thought he would take more interest in it but hasn't. I think the last few years with my 32 project being delayed he forgot what the rush it is being on the water.

If I don't have any interest soon I will just keep it. Might even take it up the shoreline this fall yet. Would be easy to convert back over to BBC. Hmmm

I'm actually doing ok then.

I'm 49 this month and son will be 15 next mo. That time flies by so fast though.

Lol... Oh he knows. Just a lot going on. I remember what it was like with myself. Cars and freedom at that age and then boats not long after. I got the itch at 19 with a 21 liberator loaded to the hilt with sub woofers listening to all the good ol 80's music. Thought I was the coolest dude in the world rollin through channel. Omg.... Some fun times though. Hah..

4k less new seats but originals and pedestals still in boat. Everything is in place. Little tlc and good to go. Really surprised no one jumped on this. Project really needs very little or could be ran as is. My plan was to get seats recovered and cockpit carpet.

3k. I need the storage space it's taking up. I am shocked somebody hasn't snagged this.
