Pulled these from a boat I parted out three years ago and stored them in my shop,
Was going to use them in my race boat but have decided to go with 540s.
They were running fine when I pulled them HOWEVER the camshafts in these
engines have been swapped out. I know stock cams had huge duration, that may be why they were replaced, they have what sounds like 365hp cams.
I opened them up to confirm condition and
they are very nice for 35 year old engines. They will need refreshing but it wont take much
Cylinder walls are in very good shape. Engines had good oil pressure when pulled.
I have all the accesories and hoses for both engines.
They came with Gil manifolds and dry pipes however I am keeping those
Video of them running just before I pulled them
Both engines with accesories ,intakes and carbs $5000
Both engines with accesories but no intake or carbs $4500
Both engines with no intakes no carbs and no accesories $4000
Both shortblocks only (no heads,no accesories,no intakes,no carbs) $3000
Mercruiser Cyclone 454/440hp specifications
Rectangular port iron heads with high-perf precision valve job for improved flow
Aluminum highrise dual plane intake
850 double pump Holley
4 bolt main block
Forged rods
Forged pistons
Forged polished crank
Aluminum roller rockers
Flat Tappet Camshaft 323/.328 lobe and .549/.558 valve.(have been replaced )
if intrested email as I dont check the forum that often
