FS: PA 2 Project Big Block Marine Engines CHEAP
Have 2 engines that have been kicking around that I am never going to get to. Both are Generation 5 BBC.
One is a 454 4 bolt main with a scat crank and GM Dimple rods with Keith Black pistons. Sat for a while and got some surface rust on the bores. Needs bored to 462 or 468 to clean up. 2 sets of oval port heads, one are l29 vortec heads. Have a stock Mercuiser oval port intake and a Rochester carb.
Second engine is a 509. Stock GM Forged 502 crank. Crank has been cut .020 and needs polished or replaced depending on your plans. Scat forged rods with ARP hardware. JE Forged pistons- scuffed. Bore is scuffed and should go to 515 and new pistons installed with new bearings. Built 088 heads with porting and inconnel valves and big springs. Valve job should be done with guides to be sure. 2 different Erson camshafts with similar 741 specs. Procomp BBC rectangle intake manifold and a HP500 800 cfm Holley 4 barrel carb.
Both engines have oil pans/pumps, and I have some accessories and valve covers if you wanted to make a deal. I want the stuff out of my way. Let's call it $3000 for both engines, all parts, and maybe we can find some other stuff you want while you are here? DM me for a phone number. Everything is located in Downingtown, PA 19335.
