Default 2 -2 BMAX shorties cases

Selling 2 BMAX cases. No warranty please read $2000 OBO for the pair they list for $2800 ea. I believe I am open to offers
this is a long story but I want to be clear I am not trying to rip anyone off. I have 2 -2” B MAX SHORTIES CASES ONLY. I bought a pair of cases a couple years ago and assembled over the winter 1 case had a broken vertical shaft in it. From the vertical shaft bearing seizing. I was able to get the shaft out. However the vertical shaft bearing was scored.so I honed it out and put an XR vertical shaft bearing in it. As BMAX is different from imco and Mercury.

Both cases are assembled as we speak and go in and out of gear and push the boat to 80Plus mph however the case that has a broken vertical shaft always HAS FINE METAL FLAKES ON THE MAGNET. NO CHUNKS. it is a shimming problem as the flake is coming from the prop shaft gear. Again I assembled both I have never assembled a lower before however the other lower I assembled the same way and it has had no metal flake in it. I have tried 3 different times of disassembling and reassembling of this lower.
so I bought 2 new imco cases and will put the my parts in them.
1 SKEG WAS ADMAGED IN SHIPPING AND THE NOSE POINT WAS SMUSHED thanks UPS!

I still have them. I took everything out of the cases and put in the imco cases. I bought other then vertical shaft bearings. Obviously.
. I literally was going to take the boat out for a ride before the imco cases showed up.and decided not too at the last minute. because I said with my luck I would grenade the drive and need new everything

How did you get the bmax lower to bolt to the upper? I thought they needed some holes changed and some kind of adapter for the spline?

Default Bmax

Bmax lower drives are the same as Bravo drives and Imco drives they have a different vertical shaft in them for the Bmax uppers which I believe they have a different coupler however since the lower vertical shaft was for a bravo it bolted right up.
