And can you explain the pics? In the first pic the mounting holes are on the top plate with the cap, but in the second pic they are on the bottom. What am I missing or are their mounting holes in both plates?

they have 4 mounting holes.
mid you only use 2 there is a chance they will crack from vibration.

I could use one for sure but unfortunately spent my parts money on ammo. That's a fair deal right there.

How do they work with the mercury oil drive sensor system…is there a plug not shown? Or do you just not plug anything in?
