Would this work good on a 525SC running manifolds and a 177?

It's not designed for forced induction. But it does have the HP ECU so you could probably make it work with your own tune and the correct MAP sensor. Advertised max HP is 600 with NA BSFC so the injector duty cycle would probably be high with your blown motor.
