One pair Mercury Racing 500 EFI's. Brand new (from Chevy) blocks, brand new Edelbrock 6155 marine aluminum heads with inconell severe duty valves for exhaust 1.88 and severe duty stainless on intakes 2.25.These heads are hard coated inside for use in salt water. They have brand new isky 8005plus springs (best made imo) brand new Crane 13532-16 hydraulic roller lifters, not the cheap Chinese #hit from eBay, Brand new Crane 168741 cams, new Crower stainless roller rockers, new manely push rods, Rollmaster double roller timing chains, melling 10778 upgraded HV oil pump with welded pick up. All new ARP head bolts. Billet aluminum MSD style distributors with GM modules, and real fluidampr balancers stainless ARP studs for the valve covers and exhaust manifolds. New clevite 77 TriArmor coated rod and main bearings, and new JE piston rings. Brand new slightly larger injectors ( I will have to find the specs on them) so if you're to this point you know the only things that are not brand new are the crank, pistons and rods. There are new ARP rod bolts. So the deal is I took two very low hour HP 500EFI's down to stroke to 540 And install Whipple's. I was about to throw it all away (who wants stock stroke if their rebuilding anyway) then I looked at them and there were no scratches in the pistons, the cylinder walls nothing. Bearings were perfect. I couldn't do it. So I bought two brand new blocks had it all honed and new rings and bearings and balanced. These are built with way better stuff that mercury did and for a whole lot cheaper. All I want is $20,000 for both. You cannot buy the parts for that. Thanks for looking.
