Default Set of 496 MAG HO’s

Gonna sell my 496 Mag HOs Looking to get 28k for set, complete drop ins with exhaust. one motor had new long block last year about 15 hours on it. Other motor compression test good about 250 hours on it. Both serviced / maintained by one of the the best in the industry. 100% turn key package. Get in, start up and go. Zero issues. Motors will be pulled by certified Mercury mechanic in Havasu upon sale. Would rather not separate.

Just curious, what led to the need for a new long block?

compression was a bit low on two cylinders and my mechanic is anal AF. LOL. so, while everything was out and the boat was getting worked on he put a new long block in.

if it all comes together, Barrett will go through them and get some reliable HP out of them. Gotta sell these first though.

Do you have a number I can call? I am interested but would need to talk through it with you or your mechanic. Just PM me that's fine

Hey, sorry I just saw this. I've decided to keep them in the boat and sell the whole boat in order to upgrade to a #6 boat. Thanks for reaching out though.
