Run 89 or 91 octane?

I’ve always ran 91 to be safe. If none can be found, I’d add Boostane.

Where have these engines spent most of their use...fresh water ~ ocean?.... if as stated, great deal!.

From what I can gather, these motors are original to be boat and it’s an ‘04 Top Gun out of NC. I was told they are Zul motors. I posted this before and told he didn’t build 632’s, but my mechanic called him and his response was, ‘sounds like one of mine’. I’ve owned boat for last 6 years and it spent 1 year prior in the area which is salt water. So what I can say with confidence is that 7/19 years has been salt water. From my experience, salt water really only impacts the aluminum parts, such as intake and heads. During rebuilds, eroded areas are welded up and machined back to spec.
