But don't they (IB) only get paid if someone actually clicks the ad? It seems highly unlikely that anyone from this board would click those ads. They're a little annoying, but it's not too hard to ignore them. And, maybe if they're ignored, they'll go away? Yeah, ok, maybe that's asking too much...

I'm not sure how it works, but why would IB have agreed to have the google ads placed on the site if they aren't profiting from it?

no google ads on my end HOWEVER everytime I access a new thread or post, the entire screen shows me the OSO advertisers that are normally on the left of the screen. Don't like it.

Ads are in the thread! Look up any thread as a lurker (don't sign in your screen name) and they are in the upper right hand corner of the first post of every thread.........

If they were only off on the left side banner I wouldn't care but in the thread is too much.........

I don't understand why this is such a big deal? Sign in and you won't see them.

Agreed. I'm signed in every time I'm here, so if it weren't for this thread, I wouldn't have known about the ads.

Edit: Ok, now I do see the Google ads on the left, and I am signed in. I still don't care.
