Must be all the banner ads that have to load. I even get the connection timed out, took too long to connect, too busy a lot lately. Says try again later.

OSO Is sucking big time... any chance I can get a refund on my membership on the balance of time left? I never even got the free sticker and shirt.. Well I did but they were soaked and pretty much destroyed (US Mails fault, not OSO's) but when I called to tell them I was sent a Small shirt; seeing as I'm 6'3 that just did not work.. I felt like Tommy Boy wearing it.

45 to 50 second page load times is ridiculous. Internet Brands, will you please address the slow site issues once and forall?

oso tech announcement:
This is just to let you know that we are (and have been) working on the network slowness that's been affecting OSO for the last few days. There appears to be a problem with how our firewall handles TCP packets under certain cirumstances, and we're investigating both whether we need to upgrade our system or if changing configurations is going to fix things that an upgrade might not. I realize that site slowness doesn't make anyone's experience more enjoyable, and we're working as hard as we can to get to the bottom of whatever is slowing things down. We apologize for any inconvenience you experience in the meantime, though.

That last few days? This is way past the last few days.

How long can the investigation take?

Friggin Geek Squad could have cleared this by now.

Maybe getting service from a company with 50 forums is like getting service from a landlord with 200 properties.

I think I am gonna call Roger Penske's office and get an appointment while he is in Michigan. I want to see what they want to take this problem child off of their hands and get it into the hands of somebody who understands speed (the members). Maybe the irony of buying the most prominent performance boat forum in the world and slowing it down to a crawl would work on Roger and we can get the forum back into the hands of people who are focused on this forum and what it is about.

Agreed. Scream and Fly is a MUCH better running site. Nicer people overall too.
