Default PM problem

Heather can you help me, I am not a paid member at the moment, so I realize I can not PM, which I understand.
But instead of it saying that when people try to PM me
it says my box is full which I don't believe it is. I know in the past when I have tried to PM members who were not paide, the message came up saying something about that function wasn't allowed, not that their box was full.
Thanks Donna

yep I got it and just replied. That was not the case the last time I tried a few weeks ago. When I would try to send one it would say, you don't have access to this feature or something like that. When someone would send me one it would say
your PM box was full, and it wasn't. In the past PM's were
only for paying members and I am no longer one. Very confusing. Are you a moderator or admin now

Why is there an option to send registered members PM's, if they do not receive them? I am not getting a message back to indicate the message did not go through.
Am I missing something here?

I think registered members can get PMs but they can only have 10 or maybe its 20 in their boxes at a time. Ill double check that for you tho ...
